SHE ASKED FOR ONE DAY OF FLEXIBILITY

What happened next, changed her life...

This site documents the events that transpired after our daughter requested to miss a single Saturday cheer event at North Valley Christian Academy (NVCA) — and what followed. It outlines serious safeguarding concerns regarding student safety, privacy, due process, and fairness at North Valley Christian Academy (NVCA) in Phoenix, Arizona. Our daughter did nothing wrong. Yet, within 48 hours, she was removed from her school community over a weekend — without a policy violation, without restorative options, and without meaningful review. We are sharing this publicly not out of anger, but out of responsibility. Silence protects systems, not children. We invite you to consider whether a similar situation could occur to your child at an Anthem AZ Christian School. Specifically, we want to highlight the actions taken by Jason Mitchell at NVCA and the role of Lisa Walker, the NVCA Cheer Coach, in this troubling situation.

When a One-Game Conflict Became a School-Ending Decision for

The audio recording and accompanying materials on this site capture a moment that no child should experience at Anthem AZ Christian School, which stands firm in its commitment to faith, safety, and human dignity. We encourage you to listen and review the surrounding context, particularly regarding the actions of Jason Mitchell from NVCA and Lisa Walker, the NVCA Cheer Coach. Reflect on whether this interaction raises appropriate safeguarding concerns and whether it aligns with the standards of pastoral care and Christ-centered leadership at North Valley Christian Academy.
